Learning Enrichment and Acceleration Pathways (LEAP) is a targeted program designed to provide an intellectual talent development pathway for selected students in Years 7–10. The program is structured to meet the learning needs of high potential and gifted students by offering an environment that challenges, extends and supports them to achieve their best.

LEAP offers a rigorous and engaging curriculum that builds strong academic foundations while also developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and independence. Students learn together as a cohort for their core subjects, enabling teachers to design learning that is appropriately paced, intellectually challenging and responsive to student need, while remaining fully connected to the broader school experience.

The program is delivered by experienced teachers who understand both the academic and wellbeing needs of capable learners. Strong relationships, clear expectations and consistent routines support a smooth transition into high school and foster a sense of belonging within the LEAP cohort. LEAP values strong partnerships with families and recognises the important role parents play in supporting student growth, with open communication and shared expectations underpinning the program.

The intention of LEAP is not only to foster academic excellence, but also to develop confident, motivated learners who are well prepared for future success.
